Dear Sir,

The right to work and the right to form and join an Association are human rights enshrined in the Declaration for Human Rights of the United Nations in 1948. Our Constitution was also provided this. The International Labour Organization  holds that the labour can never be treated as a commodity.

We, the Gazetted Officers are human beings and should be treated as such, in the workplace also. We have the right to a fair and equitable salary and to the best possible security and safety at work.  The Confederation of Central Government Gazetted Officers Organizations  is devoted to building Gazetted Officers’ power and believes that the best way to strength is to organize, organize and organize.

The basis of the Confederation is solidarity. When we form an Association we give each other a mutual promise. We promise that we will never work on less favorable terms or at a lower salary than we have agreed to. Together we are strong. Together we can make demands and make the model employer listen to us. And the more numbers we have, the greater is our opportunity to improve our conditions through collective bargaining and influence at the workplace and society as a whole. We must always be  efficient  in our Association work.
