7th CPC Guidelines to Autonomous Bodies
Pay revision of Employees of Quasi Government Organizations, Autonomous Organizations, Statutory Bodies etc., set up by and Funded/Controlled by the Central Government - Guidelines Issued.
Confederation of Central Govt. Gazetted Officers’ Organisations (CCGGOO) appeals to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to increase personal income tax exemption limit and higher and early deduction limits on home loan interest in the Budget 2017-18.
* Raise minimum limit for taxable income Considering the increase in cost of living, the current basic exemption limit of Rs.2.5 lakhs should be raised atleast to Rs. 5 lakhs. * Change in tax slabs. * Raise exemption limit on allowances. * Increase deduction under Section 80C. * Bring back deduction on infrastructure bonds. * Offer more incentives for NPS investment. * Offer interest subvention on home loans. * Allow higher & early deductions on home loan EMIs. * Raise exemption limit for senior citizens.
